Introduction:

I thought long and hard about what kind of fanfic* I wanted to write for Yuriko and I decided that the only fitting thing would be to give her a shoujo manga of her own. Unfortunately, I can't draw a straight line with a ruler, so manga is out.  So, instead, I am presenting to you an ongoing shoujo/shoujoai serial, starring Yuricon's attractive mascot, Yuriko. I hope that this will read much like a shoujo manga, with all the requisite love complications and ridiculous plot mangling, but I have no idea where it's going, so who knows. I want to dedicate this series to Dreiser, for whom I have nothing but admiration - and to whom I owe alot - especially the very concept of AniLesboCon. Thanks, sweetie. I hope you enjoy this series 1/1256 as much as I like Scenes From an Elevator. And, as always, to my Muse, my wife, and my love, who all happen to be the same person.

*It was pointed out to me recently that SnB is not, in fact, a fanfic, but an original fiction based on a character of my own creation, i.e. I am actually establishing the canon. Nonetheless, I persist in thinking of it as a fanfic, since I am indubitably a fan of Yuriko's.:-)
